When I go through the gift giving process I always start by thinking about that person, I think about what he/she likes and what makes him/her happy. I then decide what I would like to make for him/her and start scouring the net and books for ideas. Sometimes... ok usually for hours. I will almost always obsess over photos, patterns, and ideas until I find exactly what I want then I will change it and make it my own...

(back)For this gift I decided what I wanted to make, found a pattern, chose the material, then chose the yarn to match. I was so excited to find these absolutely gorgeous wool yarns to match the colors I wanted in the fabric.
